House Breaking Your Kuvasz |

A Kuvasz is a very clean dog and is easy to housetrain. The cardinal rule is, an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. |
Young puppies need to go out every two or three hours, at first, and should be lavishly praised for success. If an accident occurs, explain that is is wrong,(shame)and take your puppy and the accident outside into a designated area, but avoid punishment. Be sure it isn't your fault as much as the puppy's. |
House training takes patience and effort for the first week or so but your time will be amply repaid by success. |
