What to look for when you pick your puppy ?

Look for a bright-eyed, alert youngster that is strong and sturdy (but not necessarily large) and not too fat. Strange people and noises should arouse curiosity rather than fear. Depending on the type of temperament you prefer, you can select a bold and outgoing puppy or a quiet, reserved one - either one will make a good adult. It's a matter of taste which type of dog you want to live with.
